Avishka Fernando showcased an outstanding performance, scoring a brilliant 91 off 50 balls for Chattogram Challengers in their Bangladesh Premier League match against Fortune Barishal at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Curtis Campher also played a quick innings, contributing a nine-ball 29.
This impressive batting display propelled Chattogram Challengers to a total of 193-4 in 20 overs. Avishka’s innings featured five fours and seven towering sixes, with him completing his half-century in 40 deliveries.
The late onslaught in the final five overs, in partnership with Campher, added 83 runs. Barishal’s Taijul Islam, a left-arm spinner, was the most successful bowler, taking four wickets for 26 runs. Barishal had won the toss and chose to field first.
