Jasprit Bumrah is expected to be rested as part of workload management, paving the way for Bengal seamer Akash Deep to come into the side.

According to RevSportz correspondent Rohit Juglan, Arshdeep has once again been overlooked by the team management, with Akash Deep reportedly preferred for his ability to exploit seam-friendly conditions more effectively.

Shardul Out, Nitish Reddy In?

The report also indicates that Shardul Thakur, who struggled in the first Test at Headingley, could be dropped. In his place, promising Hyderabad all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is expected to come in. Reddy impressed on debut in the Australia series, scoring a century and offering useful bowling options. His inclusion would bolster India’s batting depth while also providing a handy seam option.
